In the summer going into my senior year of college, I worked nearly every day in two different restaurants, The Daytrader and Louis Louis. Working along Highway 30A in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida I experienced a completely new culture and learned what southern hospitality looked like. I loved the experience of working in a diverse culture in a new environment. I learned to engage with customers in a personal way.
I worked at Bridges Restaurant & Bar, a fine dining spot with high standards and strict policies. There, I mastered precision, timing, and the pressure of delivering top-tier service. These early jobs taught me how to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment and shaped my strong work ethic.
My first job was at an Italian restaurant, in my hometown, Danville, CA, It was my introduction to the restaurant industry, where I gained my first glimpse into customer service and quickly learned management skills while deepening my strengths in teamwork.
