As an intern at Robin Weller Design, an interior design studio in Lido Marina Village, I gained valuable hands-on experience in both interior design and business operations. I managed the company’s social media presence, particularly on Instagram, and oversaw all online retail operations through platforms like Etsy and Shopify. My responsibilities included handling sensitive information, monitoring our wholesale accounts, and account status and payment schedules with our wholesale partners. I also tracked daily online sales, adjusted pricing to meet profit margins, and sought out new merchandising strategies, all while focusing on professional photography and videography to showcase products and lifestyle content. I played a key role in hosting our studio’s section in a holiday event, where took the initiative to foster connections with other designers and vendors while promoting the company. I enjoyed every aspect of my internship but my favorite part of my role at Robin Weller Design was collaborating with clients, together we created personalized design plans and brainstormed new ideas.
